Evergreens

Even when we are having a drought, we can still get such greeneries! Why? We export water from elsewhere!

During the beginning of the last century (the 20th century, that is), the forefathers of our City of Angels built an aqueduct to transport water some 200 miles from Central California to LA.

I just read that wars between the states will be fought over rights to water. That might make much of the western part of the US a deserted wasteland. There are some scary things happening now with this global warming. I am happy to see the green tree where you live is flourishing.

Our forefathers actually spent millions buying up rights to the land under the aqueduct so we can pipe water in! We're pretty sure some of those rights are not bought without bloodshed.
